KYOUNGDO was established in 1990 under the company motto of “Safety First, Respect for Human” and have been managed based on excellent product quality, superior technologies, and customer trust. It is the total protective equipment manufacturer that produces about 120 items of protective equipment in 12 product categories, such as shoes including safety shoes with “natural air cooling system,” protective clothing (coveralls, hoods, gloves, aprons, leggings, overshoes, etc.) for painting, grinding and welding, painting goggles, cooling jackets, air respirators, and protective clothing for musculoskeletal system.

Our employees with long-time on-site experience created the protective clothing market praised by competitors and workers, by developing products focusing on their essential purposes for safety and comfort of workers and by escaping former dysfunctional and uncomfortable products. Our technological development brought us to one of the best protective equipment manufacturers as we have applied 87 industrial property rights including patents (domestic 61, international 26) until 2018. We were awarded with grand prize from Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office in “Industry/Firefighting/Public Safety Invention Competition” in May, 2007, acquired the K Mark Certification in November, 2009, designated as the excellent manufacturer from Public Procurement Service in October, 2010, designated as Export Promising Small and Medium Business in June, 2011, and won grand prize from Minister of Employment and Labor in “The 16th Protection Device/Clothing Quality” competition in July, 2012. Currently, our products are supplied to major shipbuilding companies and heavy industries in Korea, and we have been participated in international exhibitions (A+A, NSC) and acquired international certifications (CE, NIOSH, etc.) to enter the global export market for several years.
